How to Request a Copy of Your Irving Accident Report
There are several ways to request a copy of your traffic accident report from the Irving Police Department. Reports are available online, in person, or by mail, email or fax.
Online Crash Reports
Crash reports may be obtained online using the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Crash Report Online Purchase System.
To search for a report, you will need to enter the following information:
- Report ID
- Name of Person Involved in Crash
- Crash Date
- County and City

Other Ways to get a Copy of your Report
Crash reports may also be requested in writing or with the Open Records Request Form. Complete the form and submit in person, by fax or by email. There is a $6 fee for all reports.
All report requests should include:
- Report number,
- The name of the apartment complex,
- A contact name, and
- A contact phone number.

Important to Note When Obtaining A Copy of Your Accident Report
- Information requests of 20 or more pages are $.10 per page.
- There is an additional fee of $2 per page for certified copies.
- The records window is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and closed for all official city holidays.
